Leopard, finally installed & working

October 27, 2007

Yesterday after I had finished work, I decided a trip to PC World in Nottingham was a good idea. Rocked up about 5:30pm, found the Apple Shop (it’s not what I was expecting, it’s more an Apple Stand) & had a look around. No banners, balloons, posters or Leopard boxes. “Are you doing the Leopard [...]

Leopard – where?

October 23, 2007

Leopard is out on Friday 6pm, but I don’t know where to get it from. The obvious place would be the Apple Store at Meadowhall, but that means getting there on a Friday evening, the M1 could be a nightmare. Apple quite handily has a site with all the locations for the launch here so [...]

Broken N95

Had two tickets left, and the girl at the box-office was in a really good mood (or didn’t know what she was doing, [...]

N95 Headphone Hiss

October 10, 2007

Anyone else get an annoying hiss through the headphone port on the N95? Turning the volume up helps, but when there’s quiet or between tracks it’s quite noticeable.

3Store Grantham

October 5, 2007

The chaps in the new 3Store in Grantham were very helpful & convinced me to upgrade to an N95. I was contemplating the Tytn II on T-Mobile, but I’d probably get shot if I turned up to work with a non-Nokia phone. And having direct access to the people who run the network is handy [...]
